Introduction
Welcome to Leap Spark, an initiative of Leap India Stack Foundation ("Leap India", "Leap Spark", "we", "our", or "us").
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") apply to the registration and participation in the Leap Spark introductory workshop offered through the Leap India website located at www.leapindia.org.
By registering for or participating in the workshop, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not register.
1. Purpose of the Workshop
The Leap Spark workshop is an introductory educational session designed to help teenagers and parents understand the Leap Spark learning experience.
Participation in the workshop does not constitute enrollment in the Leap Spark program.
Separate terms may apply if you later enroll in the program.
2. Eligibility
Leap Spark workshops are designed primarily for teenagers aged 13–19 and their parents or guardians.
If the participant is under the age of 18:
- the registration must be completed by a parent or legal guardian, or
- the parent/guardian must provide explicit consent for participation.
By registering a minor for the workshop, the parent or guardian confirms that they are legally authorized to provide such consent.
3. Parent or Guardian Consent
By registering a minor for the workshop, the parent or guardian agrees to:
- allow the minor to participate in workshop activities
- allow Leap India to collect and store relevant information necessary to conduct the workshop
- supervise the minor's participation where appropriate
Leap Spark workshops may include discussions, exercises, and demonstrations intended for educational purposes.
4. Data Collection and Communication
During registration, Leap India may collect information such as:
- parent/guardian name
- student name
- email address
- phone number
- city or country
- student age or grade level
This information may be used to:
- administer the workshop
- send workshop reminders and access links
- communicate updates about Leap Spark programs
- improve learning experiences
By registering, you consent to receiving communication via:
- phone
- SMS
- messaging platforms such as WhatsApp.
You may opt out of non-essential communications at any time.
5. Recording of Sessions
Leap Spark workshops may be recorded for purposes such as:
- program improvement
- training
- internal review
- educational documentation.
By participating in the workshop, you acknowledge that audio, video, or screen activity during the session may be recorded.
Leap India will not publicly use identifiable recordings of minors without additional consent from parents or guardians.
6. Participant Conduct
Participants are expected to behave respectfully toward instructors and other participants.
Leap India reserves the right to remove participants who engage in disruptive, abusive, or inappropriate behavior.
7. Intellectual Property
All workshop materials, including presentations, frameworks, exercises, and content, are the intellectual property of Leap India Stack Foundation or its licensors.
Participants may not reproduce, distribute, or commercially use these materials without written permission.
8. Limitation of Liability
Leap India will make reasonable efforts to ensure that workshop content and sessions run smoothly.
However, Leap India shall not be liable for technical interruptions, connectivity issues, or any indirect damages arising from participation.
9. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India, and disputes shall fall under the jurisdiction of courts located in Goa.
